Summary:
Math – you either love it or hate it. There doesn’t seem to be a middle ground with for this subject but no matter how your kids – or you – feel about it, there’s no avoiding it. So today I’m sharing a great way to reinforce math concepts through sticker games. Because these math games are so easily adjusted, they can be used with little ones just learning their numbers all the way through upper elementary students practicing multiplication and division.

Here’s a great activity for building oral motor skills, fine motor skills and a fantastic STEAM building activity for older kids. What I really love is that it can be enjoyed by toddlers up to elementary age kids together! My 2 year old and 9 year old were having the best time trying to move through the maze together.

Summary:
We can do so much with math and make math fun again – that’s why you have to try my Post-It Number Math Activity. Often we forget that childhood is about moving. It’s about the whole body learning not just the brain. So while this activity might be focused on math and mental understanding of numbers, we can take that learning to a new and deeper level by adding movement.

This game requires students to work with a partner or small group. They will roll a dice, add ten and cover the number. To allow for differentiation I have included a counting on card. I will have students place the dice on the card then use the ten frame of building blocks to count on.
