Summary:

These fun butterfly activities help kids to develop their fine motor skills. They make a perfect addition to spring centers! Suitable for kids in preschool and kindergarten.

These mats are great for kids who are learning to match colors or… for those kids who love picking objects up with fancy equipment like tweezers or tongs!

All they have to do is to print and laminate the mats for added durability. Then grab a basket and fill it with a variety of rainbow colored pom poms (red, green, orange, blue, purple and yellow).

After that grab some big tweezers or tongs. Children’s chopsticks can be fun too! Pick up a pom pom and match it to the circle with that color on the mat. Continue playing until all of the circles are filled.

Summary:

As the last of winter disappears and signs of spring begin to pop up all around us, we turn our crafting to all things spring: kites, flowers, rain clouds, rainbows, butterflies, and so much more. We love our Do a Dot Markers and were excited to pull them out and make this flower craft for spring.

If you haven’t used Do a Dot Markers before, you need to try them. Besides being mess free, dot markers also helps kids develop hand-eye coordination as they direct their marker to the spot on their paper. Kids strengthen fine motor skills as they hold the dot markers and move their hands to apply the marker to the paper.
