Printable and other items likely found at home
Summary:
Luckily this game was so easy to make and set up over and over again.
First, I printed a large tooth on cardstock then laminated it. Next I drew shape cavities on the tooth with a dry erase marker. Then picked a card, named the shape, then tried to erase it with a toothbrush. Super fun and actually a bit challenging to erase with a stiff toothbrush. Brush and paint shapes combines math, art, following directions and fine motor skills all in one easy activity.

It's time to brush our teeth! But first, let's make a fun toothbrush craft for our preschoolers.
This craft is simple and only requires a few materials. All you need is some construction paper, shaving cream and markers. First, draw out a tooth on the construction paper. Make it large enough so that your child can easily trace around it. Next, have your child cover the tooth with shaving cream. The goal is to make the tooth as white as possible! Once the shaving cream is applied, have your child use the markers to decorate the tooth. They can add a smile, teeth marks or whatever they want!

To play, simply print out the alphabet teeth cleaning chart and hang it up where your child can see it. Then, every time your child brushes their teeth, have them find the letter that corresponds to the tooth they are cleaning. As they work their way through the alphabet, they will be reminded of the importance of oral hygiene and will have a fun way to practice their ABC's!

Ice tray and Playdoh
Summary:
Brushing teeth is an important daily activity to keep our pearly whites healthy and sparkling.
However, it can be difficult to get little ones to brush for the recommended two minutes. To make brushing fun, try this activity with playdoh and an ice tray. First, have your child select their favorite color of playdoh. Then, help them flatten the playdoh and press it into the ice tray. Once the playdoh is in the tray, encourage your child to brush their teeth and make sure to cover all of the playdoh. This activity is a great way to teach kids the importance of brushing their teeth while also having fun.
