Summary:
Every one of my kids has loved The Very Busy Spider, and it’s one I’ve never bored of reading. The story is about a little spider that spends her day working away, spinning a web. Throughout the day her animal friends come along and invite her to stop working and play with them. But instead of ditching out, she keeps spinning away. She finishes the web at the end of the day and her hard work pays off when she catches a fly in her web.

Summary:
As part of our Ocean Themed Activities we needed to come up with a book inspired craft that my kids could do with little help from me so we read one of our favorite books, The Rainbow Fish. Then like many wonderful kids crafts start, we grabbed a paper plate and got creative. We figured out how to use a toilet paper roll to paint fish scales so our hands stayed relatively clean (oh ya!) and of course we added sparkly scales to make sure our paper plate fish looked beautiful!

Summary:
If you are regular around here you already know that making crafts based on children’s books is one of my absolute favorite things! I have so many favorites that it was difficult to choose which book to use but we decided to create a Chicka Chicka Boom Boom Kids Craft. The craft is not only bright and colorful, but it’s a great way for preschoolers to review their alphabet. We also used one of our favorite crafting materials to make it, cupcake liners.
